A 77ª edição do Globo de Ouro abriu, oficialmente, nosso 2020 e pode-se dizer que, em meio a críticas, conseguiu satisfazer - mesmo que um pouco - o público. O grande fator das reclamações foi a lista de indicados, revelada pela Associação de Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood. Muita gente não gostou de ver que homens brancos eram os concorrentes mais predominantes, mas a lista de vencedores mostrou que nem tudo estava perdido.
Nova Era das premiações?
Um dos vencedores que nos deixaram satisfeitos foi Ramy Youseff, protagonista e criador da série "Ramy", que levou pra casa o Globo de Ouro como Melhor Ator em Série de Comédia ou Musical, ganhando de nomes como Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas e Ben Platt. O ator se tornou o primeiro descendente de egípcios a ganhar na categoria.
O famoso longa sul-coreano, "Parasita", também fez história ao ser vencedor da categoria Melhor Filme em Língua Estrangeira. Em, seu discurso, o diretor Bong Joon-ho foi bem direto ao dizer: "Quando você superar a barreira de 'um dedo' de legendas, você será apresentado a muitos outros filmes incríveis... Acho que usamos apenas um idioma: o cinema".
Mas cadê as mulheres?
Se você estava achando que estavam faltando mulheres nessa lista, fica tranquilo porque o Globo de Ouro de Melhor Trilha Sonora Original foi para Hildur Guðnadóttir, do filme "Coringa", tornando-a a primeira mulher solo a fazê-lo. Awkwafina se tornou a primeira asiática-americana a ganhar o prêmio de Melhor Atriz em Filme Musical ou Comédia e Phoebe Waller-Bridge ganhou o de Melhor Atriz em Série de Comédia ou Musical.
